Good News

Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. #Bible

What a wonderful proclamation directly from the Throne of God. Jesus is declaring in the Power of the Holy Spirit of Jehovah, God, the Supreme Ruler, Master, the Good News, the Gospel.
This was a momentous occasion in the history of mankind in announcing the year of the Lord's favor, His Grace, God's Forgiveness. Not only that but to invite the entire world into His Family. The Adoption has arrived, when nobody is refused.
When Jesus had proclaimed this, He closed the Book and sat down. As to wait for those who would come requesting the fruits of the Gospel, the Grace of God Almighty. Jesus then said "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."
Those there in the Temple understood the prophecy from Isaiah, they chose not to believe who Jesus is.
Don't make the same mistake in disbelieving, but believe in Jesus the Messiah, the Lamb of God that takes your sins away, upon Himself, and even suffering your punishment. Jesus who then welcomes you as His brother in pure Holy Love, like only God can Love.
We are in the last days of God's offer of His Grace. God's delay in pouring out His wrath upon this world of the wicked is only delayed because God knows all who come to him. When they come, this age is over, and this world is going to get real nasty and violent. Come to Jesus before its too late.

Our Justice

Psalm 37:27-29 Turn away from evil and do good; so shall you dwell forever. 28 For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. #Bible

Turning away from evil is to do good. That is the only successful way to turn from evil.
When we do good, justice appears automatically, its the outcome of good, and as we read the Lord loves justice. God's reaction is He won't forsake His saints, showing good doer's that we are His.
God's saints are all that believe in His Son Jesus the Christ. No not just those, some man made religions have declared to be saints, but all believers in Jesus the Christ.
Preserved forever, this is good news, even the Gospel of our Lord Jesus the Christ. The idea here is we are hidden like a hen hides her chicks under her wings.
The wicked, those who do evil? Cut off is obviously separated from the saints. Even more, cut off from God the Creator of all things. To do evil is to prove you are not of God's Family.
The Righteous not only inherit the land, but eternity with God. Also being hidden, even protected by God is not just here and now, but in eternity also, so that we don't need to fear this human death. Death in this world is to open our eyes in eternity seeing Jesus face to face.
In all of this, we need to remember that God has our back. God is our shield of protection, our defense, our provider, prosperity, our everything both here and forever. Yes all we need in this life is Jesus the Christ our Justice. Praise God!
