Evolve

Romans 8:6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. #Bible

Our flesh puts many demands on our minds. If you don't drink water, eat food, or get proper rest, your body will eventually stop functioning properly, or even die.
Have you ever fasted? Wow, your flesh preoccupies your mind like there's no tomorrow. Your thoughts are totally consumed with hunger.
Our flesh puts even more demands on us, like lust, or pride, or selfishness, even emotions. All of these take us in all sorts of directions, and all have an end leaving us with a lack of satisfaction, a urge for more hoping for permanence, but never reaching it.
To live after the Spirit here refers to the third person of our Triune God. The Spirit of God And the Spirit of Christ.
No demands are made, no part of our flesh is attracted, enticed, or forced just to survive. Only Eternity which God has hidden within our hearts that says there has to be more than just this life. If we are honest with ourselves we know this to be true.
Living with our minds set on the Spirit means we are empowered to reject the demands of our flesh, living to obey the leadership of our God. Living to consume every Word from the mouth of God which is written in the Holy Bible.
Christ's Spirit leads us on the correct paths of life walking with God in a intimate and personal relationship with Him, through what Jesus accomplished in living the life the Law of God requires, that we can't live, and dying the death in our place that we deserve for our rebellious sins.
Now with our sins condemned to our flesh, we are free to live our lives in our new existence with our mindset on the Holy Spirit, that outcome is Peace. Peace with God, which allows us to have peace with our fellow man.
I believe there is more to experience, keeping our mind set on the Holy Spirit. Following God's lead is the greatest adventure mankind can experience in this life. The delima is not letting our flesh cause us to meander on every lust.
We are traveler's passing through this temporary life on our way to the life we were intended for, in the presence of God our Father for Eternity. Why stay in this state of frustration and pain? Evolve to where you are intended to be, with Jesus your Big Brother and your Father God who creates everything. Ask Jesus to save you from your earthly self.

Such A Child

Matthew 18:5-6 Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Receiving, welcoming one such child favorably, to embrace and approve in Jesus name, is receiving Jesus.
A child who is little or least, innocent, or immature, one who possess pure faith, who just trust's, not concerned with their next meal, where they will sleep, or what they will wear.
But cause one as this to go astray, distrust, or desert the one they should trust and obey. Tie that milestone, that takes a large animal to move, onto their neck and throw them into the open sea not off the beach, but deep sea. Its a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the angry God of all things.
In reading this section we can see that this isn't just about children, but also new Christians, and not only new, but all Christians.
It is our responsibility to treat our brothers and sisters, and especially young people just as Jesus has spoken of in this chapter. We love with that perfect God Love that acts from our pure unflawed idea of love in our own hearts. We operate and imitate just as we see Jesus Love all the way to the Cross and beyond.
Don't stay on the tangible plane of life, but embrace your new life as Christians and embark on your Spiritual plane, walking with and being just like our Wonderfully Amazing God through Jesus our Lord. The benefits and blessings are limitlessly eternal.

Believe

John 1:12-13 However, to all who received him, those believing in his name, he gave authority to become God's children, 13 who were born, not merely in a genetic sense, nor from lust, nor from man's desire, but from the will of God. #Bible

We Christians openly received Jesus as our Lord and Savior. To receive Jesus is to turn away from our rebellious sins asking God to forgive us. In doing so God our Father not only forgives us, but He gives us the authority, right, power, capacity, freedom to become His children.
This second birth is not as the result of father and mother's union, or of sexual desire, or of any other, but by God's Will, and authoritative power.
This amazing transformation is a free gift from God our Father, carried out by Jesus, the one and only unique Son of God on the cross at Calvary. There is no way to earn it, there is nothing in existence to get it, other than by Jesus the Christ's sacrifice of Love on the Cross for you and me.
Be transformed into immortality, into the Kingdom of God, into God's Family, except this free gift from God, believe in, trust in, depend on, and rely on Jesus.
Jesus is the One who saves us from the wrath to come for those who rebel, and reject God. Just do it today without delay, believe in Jesus.

Wisdom

1 Corinthians 3:19-20 For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, He catches the wise in their craftiness, 20 and again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile. #Bible

The wisdom of this world is folly, foolishness, even an absurdity with God. Obviously mans wisdom has no place in the realm of God, nor is it functional.
Mans wisdom is so foolish that God catches the wise in their craftiness. So not only are these wise men touting their wisdom, but they are scheming with the idea of deception, or trickery for their own benefit.
Its tough to get something over on one who knows what your thinking. God always knows what we are thinking.
The only wisdom of value in this world or in Heaven is the wisdom that comes from knowing God. Being in His presence learning from Him, and what His Word says in the Bible.
The Bible, God's Word keeps us from a lot of trouble, when we apply it in our lives, to ignore it leaves only futilely.

New Creation

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. #Bible

If you have excepted Jesus the Christ as your Lord and Savior and repented of your rebelous  sins, you are in Christ. You are created brand new, a new creation.
All that you were in your rebellion against God, living a sinful life in this world governed by Satan. Chasing after all you lusted for in your cruelty towards fellow human kind. A life of chaos like a pinball bouncing off the cushions and paddles of life, groping in the darkness for some sense of understanding for your existence, you have died. In fact when Jesus died on the cross all of humanity died.
We who declared Jesus our Savior and Lord were Born again into the power of life from God the Creator of all things in Heaven as well as on earth. You are a new being, a new creature, created by God the Father and sustained by Jesus the Christ.
Yes all of the old has passed away and the new has come. No longer are we against God, but we now are with God.
If you haven't sought out Jesus for salvation, hurry the time is short for His return to catch away those who are His.

Tranquil

Proverbs 14:30 A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot. #Bible

The tranquil heart, is a heart that is healed, or is healthy, or sound. The heart was understood to be the seat of consciousness, of thought, emotion, intellect, wisdom, and so on.
Envy, positively can be a zealous desire to increase in possessions or wealth. With the idea of providing for and protecting one's family.
Envy, negatively can be zealous in wanting another's possessions.
Having a tranquil heart or mind, is to be at peace. To be contented with ones accomplishments and wisdom of life. This gives life to ones flesh and those they care for.
While envy negatively causes one to desire and to open ones mouth and speak ignorantly in their lust for what another possess. In doing so makes the person to suffer in mind as well as their health, to the point their bones wrought.
Bones are the strength of the body, and when they wrought, the body weakens.
Interestingly all of this starts in the mind, but the effects are revealed in the body whether positively, or negatively.
Its simple do what is pleasing to our Lord and it is pleasing to others around us. We are a blessing to be used by the Lords Hand rather than a curse to family and those around us.
Living healthy starts with our being right with our God, which directly effects everything else in this life.
