Sabbath

Psalm 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. #Bible

Wow what a verse, what a Psalm. We are smack dab in the middle of David prophesying about our Savior Jesus. The gates of Righteousness have been opened, all who seek our Lord Jesus are welcome.
There is the idea that this Sabbath day was created by our Father God just for this day. But then isn't every Sabbath created in the same way? A gift from our God?
As we see David celebrating the coming of Messiah, shouldn't we be celebrating in the same way that the Messiah has come?
Unfortunately we being caught up in our daily lives with all of the issues and frustrations, we forget to remember the magnificence of our Holy God, the Father, our Jesus, even our Holy Spirit, our companion.
We need to return to spending our Sabbath in Holy reflection of who our God is, and ponder on His magnificence, and what He has done for us, and also in our lives, and this wonderful Grace God has given us to live in.
Fearfully we need to remember where we were and where many of our loved ones still are. Also the world that needs to hear the Gospel.
The Sabbath is a day of rest, worship, praising the Lord, reflection, and just to be at peace, knowing our God Loves us so much.
