Good

John 10:14-15 I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I'm known by my own; 15 even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.

Jesus the Good Shepherd, He is beautiful, praiseworthy, honest, pure of heart, noble, honorable, morally good, these are just a few of the descriptions of how good Jesus is. Jesus is Perfect and only functions in perfection.
Jesus knows His own and is known by His own, because not only does He know their heart and minds, but He has experience with them. Jesus sees us who are His own, nothing escapes His view of us.
The same is true between Himself and our Father God who also is Good.
We who know Jesus know Him because of our initial faith in Jesus, but also because we grow in experience with Him.
There is no one else who was or is qualified to lay their life down for us. Only Jesus who is capable to take it up again, by the authority of God the Father.
We are totally blessed with this perfect Love of our Wonderful God who acts and cares for our every moment in this life we have been given. These three Persons, the Father, the Son Jesus, and His Holy Spirit. Let Him be your Good Shepherd today, time is short don't delay.

Don't Delay

John 6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. #Bible

The Father God, who or what is He?
God is, first of all, He is self existing.
"God is called the Father of the stars, the heavenly luminaries, because he is their creator, upholder, ruler of all rational and intelligent beings, whether angels or men, because he is their creator, preserver, guardian and protector of spiritual beings and of all men." (Adam Clark)

All that come to Jesus, will arrive, not who may come. The Father has sent out the invitation delivered by the Holy Spirit. The individual chooses to come to Jesus, there is no coercion it is entirely by choice. God knows those who will come to Jesus.
Jesus says He will never cast out, repel, force anyone to leave. His desire is to complete God's Will.
Everything about this verse drips like honey, showing the Love of God and Jesus towards us. Amazingly respecting one's choice to refuse, isn't that Love also? Our Father God in no way forces us to do anything, He just keeps Loving us perfectly.
The Father God still is extending the invitation to all of humanity for now, it could end any moment. If you feel the pulling of your heart, don't delay except God's invitation right away, don't be cast out by your decision.

Do Good

Hebrews 13:16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. #Bible

Why would we Christians not do good?
We are human and our human nature is naturally leaning to selfishness. It takes effort to do good.
We must be, being good to others, and not just those who are good to us.
Sharing with others is a sign of benefaction, fellowship, communion, intimate relationship, doing good, a sign of being Christians.
The Apostle Paul refers doing good to sacrifices that are pleasing to God. The world doesn't understand, we understand a sacrifice is like incense, or barbecuing. As the scent of the sacrifice rises, our Father inhales the fragrance in acceptance. The Lord is well pleased when our actions and gifts to others are good in His eyes.
Rom 13:10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Rejoice

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. #Bible

All joy be yours in the Lord at all times, be full of cheer, be calmly happy, be well, or be well off. These are a few renderings of how this word "rejoice" is used in the Bible.
When something is repeated it exemplifies the seriousness and importance or urgency of what's said.
So if we are focusing horizontally on our life's issues instead of vertically on Jesus. Then we don't see our position in this world.
The Apostle Paul reminds us here that we need to plug into Jesus to remember who we are in Christ then rejoice and again rejoice some more, and more. We are on our way to eternity with our God, that's worth rejoicing.

What controls you?

Galatians 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. #Bible

The one who has asked Jesus to be forgiven, and turned away from the life imprisoned by the desires and yearnings of our carnal nature with all of its lusts and wants. These are those who belong to Christ Jesus. Jesus being Christ, is the Messiah, the one and only unique Son of God.
We have left our carnal nature with its rebellious sins in our first life. Being born the second time we have now been born again into the Spirit, who is leading our fleshly nature, which is no longer in charge of controlling our actions.
Romans 8:6 For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace,

We Live

1 John 4:9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. #Bible

Understand the love the world knows isn't the love the Christian knows. The Love we Christians know and experience is from God.
The love of God is pure and perfect, when God loves, it accomplishes Gods design and intention.
Jesus is the perfect example of the perfection of Gods love. Flawlessly Jesus accomplished Gods Love for the world. Jesus was able to do this because of His Love for the Father.
This is something the Christian needs to remember, we are not members of some exclusive club, we are merely beneficiaries of the Love of God.
One benefit of Gods Love is that we Christians live through Jesus. We no longer live by the power of the flesh, but the Power of our New Life in Christ Jesus. This New Life is being born the second time into the Family of God and His Kingdom.
If you haven't been born into the Family of God, turn from your worldly rebelliously sinful life, and ask Jesus to save you from the death that is coming in the world.
