Fear what is it good for?

2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. #Bible

As human beings we have a God given characteristic of fear. Interestingly we in my opinion, have abused it to the point that fear has turned into something entirely different, anxiety, depression, paranoia, doubt, discouragement, and so on. Fear has been exaggerated way out of proportion.
Fear for the Christian simply put, is a trigger, or an alert to talk to God. Christians aren't slaves to fear any more, we have been freed by our Savior Jesus the Christ.
Jesus has not only freed us from a spirit of fear, but He has given us miraculous power, a miracle in itself from God.
We now have the ability to do the wonderful works of God. We are now, as Christians able to do the will of God. We have been given the ability of self control to Love as God Loves. Not only fellow Christians, but the world also.
We Christians being filled with our comforter the Holly Spirit, the power of God to endure, even when fear grips us with all it brings, we cry out to our Abba, (Daddy), Father God, who has all the solutions, and answers to our human dilemma.

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, Abba! Father!

Ephesians 3:12 In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear). (Amplified Bible)
